Downtown Singapores little hidden gem. Great food and the seafood are delicious. Situated near the Quays restaurant area and hidden in the back corner…. You’re greeted with friendly staff and with recommendations that we were only happy to oblige. All the dishes were great and the service was better than high rated restaurants in the area. The meals are definitely cheaper as well. The restaurant is a bit run down and being sat near the bathroom wasn’t as pleasant by the end of our meals. We would still recommend this place. Just try and sit away from the bathroom area.

Have been eating here for years. Though the quality of the dishes varies from time to time, overall they serve decent “tze char” and BBQ seafood dishes and it’s reasonably priced considering that they are located near Boat Quay. They have $9.90 BBQ Seafood (choose any 2) with rice which in my pov is a pretty good deal. No service charge here.

The stingray in big portion and taste good. They did not really bbq it. However taste not bad with home make chilli. The kang kong too salty we have informed them hopefully they take note. Overall we felt they charge reasonable price.

Very affordable and reasonable for crab. All dishes I ordered are very delicious but not sure if it’s authentic . Staff are very nice and friendly. Not really hygiene if you have that concern, bad experience with a toilet.

We went at 5.30pm on a Wednesday and there were many available seats. Food was served fast and hot. Rice is slightly mushy & sticky kind. Chicken wings are not your usual flavour.

This place serves lunch set meals at decent price. Fresh string ray and sotong. Flavour is wholesome. You feel like you are back in the 1980s eating on the roadside near the seafront. Like in the movie ratatouille - where igor gets transported back to his childhood eating ratatouille; it’s the similar feeling when you take the first bite at this pace. Only accept cash. Maybe they wash money. But it’s okay. still good.

I cant give a bad review for good cheap eats and it was located next to the place where I stayed at in SG. Came here on a rainy day... and if you're in SG you know all about the rain problems... it always rain. I was hungry and came here since it was located next door to me. Indoor and out door seating. A great variety on their menu and price point was great. I ordered the lemon chicken with lime juice. I notice this place is popular during lunch time with locals. Pure comfort food within the city with some good bbq stingray going for $5+ that comes with rice and a fried egg, what joy! Another one of my favourite is their sweet and sour pork. It's sweet, it's sour and it's crispy! If you want Stingray yet not too sure about whether you can take the spiciness, ask them to have the gravy on the side so that you can dip however much you want, based on your own preference. Crowded during lunch so for an enjoyable meal, try dinner instead. For those who are particular about smelling like BBQ meat after a meal, take the seats outside instead of within the shop. :)
